Rational Numbers

A rational number is any number of the form p/q where p & q are integers, and q!= 0.

ex) 3/4
q != 0 because  3/4 = 3÷4 -> .75

ex) -8

q != 0 because  -8 = -8/1 = 8/-1

Note: 7/0 = 0÷7=”no number works here”

So we say that 7/0 is undefined. Cannot be performed.
